When our Dylan (Diggy) was six months old, he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, a genetic chromosome 21 disorder causing developmental and intellectual delays. From that day on, I became a full time advocate for my baby! My goal was to find the best resources and information in order to give him the best life possible. In 2015, I joined the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis (DSAGSL) Board of Directors to ensure I was on the front end of all the programs, laws and events available in the region.
One of the events (which most of you know I’m passionate about) involves fitness. The DSAGSL hosts a walk every year in support of their many causes. The walk is on June 3, 2018 in the Upper Muny parking lot of Forest Park from 9a-1p. We are walking for my Diggy and our team is called Diggy Doers. This is a GREAT event with lots of activities, games, music, food, and a one-mile walk!
Every dollar will go directly to programs and services for the 1700 individuals with Down syndrome in the greater St. Louis region!
Please let me know if you have any questions and I thank you for your support!
Thank you for Stepping Up!
Your support is making a difference for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our St. Louis Community!
Any and everything I do is centered around my love for this little boy I know. He inspires me to be the best person I can be for the community. Any amount you donate goes toward our goal to raise money for programs and services for the more than 1700 individuals with Down syndrome in the greater St. Louis region!
