Step Up for Down Syndrome 2020

Drew's Pack

Hello and thank you for supporting the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis and my brother, Andrew's team! If you know and love me, than you likely know and love my brother! He has been one of the most important people in my life since he was born 34 years ago. He is kind, patient, funny, caring, empathetic, helpful, and such a gentleman! He has certainly made me the person I am today and has taught me everything I know about giving back.

The DSAGSL supports 1,900 individuals in the St. Louis region just like my brother. We offer new family support when parents find out they are going to, or just have had a child with Down syndrome. We welcome them with open arms, ease their worries, and provide a network of friends and resources to rely on. In addition, we provide therapeutic, social, educational, and skill-building programs for individuals with Ds of all ages and their family members. There is no other organization in the area soley dedicated to serving people with Ds from birth to end of life.

Like many busineses and organizations, the past three months have been filled with uncertainty for the DSAGSL, but our team has been able to serve more individuals than ever before due to the amazing online programs we have started offering. We are combatting social isolation, developmental delays, grief and depression through our wonderful social and educational online programs. I am so proud!! Many of our live fundraising events have been cancelled, postponed or moved virtually, so we need the community's support now more than ever! Please consider making a donation to my organization so we can continue to keep our team whole and serve the amazing individuals we do!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
