Show Mo Love
Thank you for Stepping Up and Showing Mo(ses) Love!
We are excited to Step Up For Down Syndrome again this year! Instead of the event being held at Forest Park, this year it will be a virutal event. On June 7, 2020, we will be doing the one-mile awareness walk in our neighborhood, follwed by a fun virtual family festival, including live-stream music and games. As of now, we are still practicing social distancing and will be doing the walk with just our family and we invite you to do a walk in your own neighborhood in support of Moses and the Down syndrome community. Learn more about the event at dsagsl.org/events/step-up
This is the one time of the year that I do ask for donations to support the Heartland Down Syndrome Association and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis (DSAGSL). The money raised by our team is actually put into a fund that goes directly to the Heartland Down Syndrome Association (HDSA) to benefit us and the other families in our area. Our organization is growning and with the money we raise, the HDSA will be able to continue hosting our own Step Up for Down Syndrome event this fall as well as host other events at no cost to our families and participants. Recently, we have been working with the DSAGSL to expand the events and services provided for families in the Heartland!
We need your help so please do anything you can - every bit helps! And please join us for the virtual awareness walk and activities on June 7th!
Thank you so much for the love and support you continue to show to Moses and the Down syndrome community!
