Go Go Chloe
Close to three years ago Sarah and I got the call from the nurse at Mercy letting us know out new daughter was going to be born with Down Syndrome. It would be false to say those first 24-48 hours were not filled with fear, confusion, sadness and self-pity.
One of the fist calls we received was from the Down Syndrome of St. Louis. They provided invaluable resources, and most importantly unwaivering support.
As I type this today I cannot imagine not having Chloe Grace in our life. She is pure joy.
Every night when I put her down I whisper to Chloe that she "Will change the world". She has changed mine and Sarahs world, our families world and in time I know she will change many more.
In these tough times we know contributing funds might not be possible. You are wlecome to "virtually" walk with us Sunday June 7 to support the amazing orginization but most of all support those with Down Syndrome in our community like Chloe.
Thank you for the support and look for us to share some pics and video as we virtually walk a week from tomororw. June 7, 2020.
