Walter was born on March 12th, 2019.
Jessica and I found out about his diagnosis of Down Syndrome at 12 weeks into her pregnancy after getting our genetics test results. This was a very emotional time because we were scared and didn't know what to expect. However, we were lucky to meet with a group of people that educated us on what this all really meant.
We decided on the team name, Walt's Wolfpack, because his support system is unreal. He has so many different people that love him and it truly is like his own little Wolfpack. The more people Walter meets the more his pack grows!
Walter is always in a good mood. he is always laughing and smiling (he has a signature cheese that you'll never forget). His happiness is so infectious that just looking at him can make any bad day a good one.
The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis does so much for families like ours and helps prepare for all stages of life. If you would like to be a part of our team for the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk on Sunday, June 13th, please click the link and join! If you can't make it to the event, you can still donate!
Thank you so much!
Chris, Jessica, Arthur and Walter
